When it comes to picking the perfect location for your family photos, one spot that is often overlooked is your own home. I get it, it can be scary to invite someone into your own space. Vulnerable really. But it is those feelings of vulnerability that allows me to capture a whole new level of connection and storytelling that is honestly really hard to recreate anywhere else.
There is really no place like home. It is in those walls that your kids feel the most safe and themselves-this shows in the photos. It is in those walls that most core memories are made- this is what you want to look back and remember when you look back at these photos we make.
Photos within your home creates a whole new level of nostalgia and beauty.
So please, please don't count your home out.
